This Project was to replace a NHDOT Red-listed Bridge for the Town of Tamworth.  This bridge had significant scour issues under the abutments due to many factors.  To mitigate these issues a larger and better aligned with the brook channel bridge was installed.

The river bottom in the area of the bridge is ledge with overlying cobbles, this limited the capabilities of the cofferdam.
