Project Description
Replacement of a failed septic system. The work included removal of the failed leach field and septic tank and replacing it with an Advanced Presby Enviro Pipe Septic System. Special care was needed for scheduling because this was an occupied home.
Project Background
The existing system had failed and was in need of replacement. The original system was installed over 30 years ago, and the tank size was under sized for the current regulations for a 3 bedroom home.
Project Goals
Issue: The home was being occupied by tenants so a quick turnaround time from the start of construction till the system could be used.
Solution: The tenants were notified and the work was scheduled and the system was installed in one day, to minimize inconvenience to the tenants.
- Backfilling the sides of the 2000 Gallon Septic Tank
- Excavating for the Leach Field (EDA)
- Outlet of the Septic Tank. This Sewer and Drain Pipe connects the Septic Tank to the Leach Field (EDA)
- Covering the Advanced Presby Enviro Pipe with Septic Sand
