Rte 153 Driveway Construction

This project involved the construction of a new gravel driveway, carefully designed using the footprint of an old logging road. By following the natural contours of the hillside, we minimized the driveway’s steepness, creating a smooth, gradual incline for easier and safer access. To ensure proper drainage and prevent erosion, three 15-inch culverts were strategically installed, effectively channeling water away from the driveway and protecting it from washouts.

Issue: Heavy Rains during the construction of the driveway. Causing erosion issues in the ditches.
Solution: Lining the ditches with Rip Rap to prevent further erosion and to stabilize the ditches.
