Design Build – Ossipee Mountain Road Culverts

Project Completed: November 2020

Location: Moultonborough, NH
Owner: Town of Moultonborough

The project consisted of the replacement of an existing 48″ corrugated metal pipe culvert, associated headwalls, with a 30 foot 4′ x 4′ Box Culvert Precast Structure with Precast Wing Walls. Rip-Rap apron installed at both inlet and outlet, as well as full-depth roadbed reconstruction within limits of excavation.

 

 

Watson Hill Fire Pond Dredging & Hydrant Installation

This project consisted of dredging the fire pond on Watson Hill Rd and the installation of a new HDPE Dry Hydrant with a Fused HDPE Strainer. We also installed a HDPE recirculation pipe to allow for recirculation of the pond water during drafting operations.

Multi-Plate Arch Bridge Removal

This project consisted of the removal of a multi-plate arch bridge within the White Mountain National Forest, Saco Ranger District. Installation of signs to indicate to recreators that the bridge is out for their safety.

 

Lees Mill Landing Retaining Wall

This project was a design-build project, the scope of the work was construction for the replacement of the deteriorating timber retaining wall, along the island docks portion of Lees Mill Landing, with a new redi-rock wall retaining wall. Also the replacement of dock structures.

Landside Improvements Project at the States Landing Beach

The work consisted of constructing a parking lot, rain gardens, and recreation trails for a boat launch facility. The project utilized detention ponds and rain gardens to manage rain water run off entering the lake. Walking pathways were constructed for future expansions.

 

Ossipee Lake Rd Residential Site Work

Hornetown Road Temporary Bridge Installation

The project consists of installing a 40′ long prefabricated temporary bridge over the river and reconstructing approximately 185′ of Hornetown Rd.

 

Mallego Road Bridge Replacement

Project Completed: November 2019

Location: Barrington, NH

The project consisted of replacing an existing 6 foot CMP culvert with a 26 foot clear span bridge structure consisting of pre-stressed concrete deck beams supported on cast in place concrete cantilever abutments with spread footings.  The project included full depth roadway reconstruction along Mallego Road approx. 435 feet.

 

Green Mountain Rehab Facility Septic Installation

Project consisted of constructing a concrete chamber septic system. The work also entailed the replacement of 3 septic tanks with (1) 2,500 gallon tank, (1) 1,250 gallon tank, and (1)  1,250 gallon / 350 gallon two compartment tank with pump system.

 

Main Street South Sidewalk Project

This project consisted of installing a new sidewalk on the University of New Hampshire campus in Durham, NH along the south side of Main Street. Sidewalk installation included minor shoulder rehabilitation, drainage modification, landscaping, pedestrian lighting, retaining walls, and ADA compliant ramps, sidewalks, and bus shelter.
